It is a well-treated tale of a godfather of a village played by Gulab Chandio, who is a devoted husband of two wives, who are equally treated. He is not only a loving father to his own grown up children, but also to step daughter inherited by his second wife (Rabia Naureen). The script of the serial 'Adhoora Khuwab' is stunning as the basic story is potent.

The central character Chandio's friend (Talat Iqbal) is a businessman from higher middle class, and his son (Kamran Jillani) is shown studying in the same university where Chandio's daughter (Summan Agha) studies. Problem arises when Chandio's son (Yasir Nawaz) shoots Kamran Jillani when he sees her step-sister Summan with Kamran. Alike the Sindh rural culture, Yasir did the same as influential person of the village having very short temperament does. They always deal with the people of village as a property of their own having no self-will or wish.

The scenic view of outskirts of Karachi being shot in the serial makes it a pleasure to watch and fills a fresh feel of entertainment for the viewers. It is the 'Tricom Entertainment Presentation Drama Serial' written by Mahmood Mughal, whereas the executive producer is Atif Asad Khan. Every episode consists over 25 minutes while the cast constitutes Kamran Jilani, Yasir Nawaz, Gulab Chandio, Talat Iqbal, Summan Agha, Rabia Naureen and Shagufta Bhutto.

Being run on PTV, it is hoped that the serial would make a good business both for the channel and the producers and will be remembered by the viewers as a good production in the coming years.
